In honour of Mother’s Day I felt it was only fitting to share this post with you all because so much of what I love to do has come from my Mom.

My love for hosting, and celebrating the small things in life has definitely been passed down from my Mom. As a child, I remember always coming home to a seasonally decorated living room or opening my lunch box to find aesthetically pleasing cookie cutter sandwiches whose shapes reflected the associated Holiday we were celebrating. As a result, my admiration for Homesense, Pinterest and doing dress rehearsals for a table settings (something my husband has come to accept as norm) has always been a part of me.

Colour, theme, mood and textures all bring joy to my soul, and get my creativity going. I'm the girl who is always planning a month ahead of time for events and making sure that no detail was left behind. I get  that life is busy and come to realize that sometimes the "no one does it better than me" attitude doesn’t fly. So that's why I'm here to inspire, and create something beautiful for you too!
